Right now, all over the world, people are searching. They type their fears into a search bar late at night, wondering where all of this is going. If that is you, please hear this first. You are not alone.
That hunger to understand the days ahead is God given, and He has already given us the answers. Studying prophecy does not feed the fear. It replaces it. When we open the book of Revelation and see that Jesus Christ holds the future, worry loses its grip and peace takes its place.
When we truly grasp that God is in control, it strengthens a marriage under pressure. It steadies a mother and a father raising children in an anxious world. It gives a young person courage instead of dread. This is not distant theology. It is peace at the dinner table, and boldness to share Christ with the people we love.
Scripture shows us that God forms the light and brings the day, that He holds all things together, and that nothing on this earth unfolds outside of His hand. When we know that, we can release our worries. We may not know what the future holds, but we know the One who holds the future.
The Bible contains thousands of prophecies, and more than three thousand of them have already come true exactly as written. Only a God who stands outside of time could author a book like that. Fulfilled prophecy is one of the strongest evidences that Scripture is exactly what it claims to be.
Because past prophecies came true with precision, we can point people to the promises still ahead with confidence. Prophecy opens doors to talk about Jesus Christ, salvation, and the hope of heaven.
He did not leave us in the dark. Out of love, He gives us glimpses of what is coming so that we do not have to live in fear. Genesis tells us where we came from, Revelation tells us where we are going, and Romans shows us the way home.
Through prophecy we come to know the heart of God. His plan was never destruction. It is hope, a future, and the offer of His love to all who will receive it.
The more we study what He has revealed, the more intimately we walk with Him. Prophecy is not meant to puff up our knowledge. It is meant to warm our hearts and pull us nearer to the Savior.
Prophecy is woven all through Scripture. It is God's love letter to us, and we were meant to read all of it, not just the parts that feel comfortable. These are not idle words. They are our life.
Not anxiety, but anticipation. Not dread, but joy. Jesus Christ is on the throne, He is in control, and He wants us to know the end of the story so we can live today without fear.
