Straight Up Truth Bible Prophecy Simplified

Verse by verse · Daniel & Revelation

Daniel and Revelation, finally in plain English.

Books, free in-person Bible studies, and free printable resources for families — taught by Bernard Bourque, M.A. in Biblical Studies, Dallas Theological Seminary. We read these books in order, from verse one, until they make sense.

Never read prophecy before? That is the normal starting point — sit in on a study.

What we do together

A ministry with four jobs.

01

We teach it straight

Verse by verse, in order, with nothing skipped because it's difficult. No sensational timelines, no headline-chasing.

02

We meet in person

Bible studies where people sit across a table with an open Bible and ask the questions they were afraid to ask in church.

03

We put it in print

Books and chartbooks so a study doesn't end when the evening does — and so someone in another state can follow along.

04

We equip families

Coloring pages, word searches, and study companions so parents can bring their kids and teens along instead of leaving them out.

The books

Where most people start.

Four titles in print, with twenty more in preparation. Every one written to be read by a person with a Bible and an evening — not by a seminary.

In person

Come sit in on a study.

Bernard teaches in person on a regular schedule. You don't need to register, you don't need to know anything going in, and you won't be put on the spot. Bring a Bible — we'll hand you the charts.

For churches & groups

Ask Bernard to come to you.

Bernard speaks at churches, conferences, men's groups, and retreats — single sessions or a full weekend through Daniel or Revelation.

A piece a month on what we're working through, what people keep asking, and where popular prophecy teaching gets ahead of the text.

Why we teach prophecy verse by verse

Most people avoid Daniel and Revelation because they have only ever met them in fragments -- a verse pulled for a headline, a chart on a screen. Read in order, they are far less strange than advertised.

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear.” Revelation 1:3

This ministry runs on prayer and partners.

Books earn a few dollars a copy. The studies are free and are staying free. What actually keeps the teaching going — the travel, the printing, the hours — is a small group of people giving monthly.

Pray for the work either way. That request is not a softener — it is the older half of the ask.
